Thought I could share some how I sometimes work step by step. So here is one of the cards I did for the Blisterrot Project. I like to sketch the ideas on paper first, so I fold an A4 sized paper in half, then loosely mark out so I get 12 thumbnail sized borders. Then let the imagination flow :) they are very fun to do, and its good practice too.
I usually work without line-work but when I have a rough sketch I tend to use it as a guideline, block in the colors then polish it up.
