Origin framed and oil experiment

Happy how it turned out when framed :) A4 size done with lead pencil on watercolor paper, kinda like the rough feel on that paper.

Painted on a pretty big board, really fun to play around with. One thing that I observed was that the upper part where I used another brand of oils the colors went a bit grayish and weird. Anyone know why? Using linseed oil to mix the oils in.

Poisonous words, Spellcard

For the blisterrot project :) Had a blast working on this one, but I changed some things along the process. Attached the rough sketch for fun. So I changed the angle of the right face a bit, why you say? Because I wanted to challenge myself more and I felt like the illustration got a bit flat when her face was like in the rough.

Spell text:

You suddenly find yourself feeling like everyone is plotting against you, dark thoughts forms and starts to make sense.

Embitterment: Nothing feels fair, your charisma is reduced.

Anger: An invisible cloak of heavy hatred embraces you, intelligence reduced greatly but strength increased.

Random frustration

Random face study! Got a bit frustrated working on a personal illustration, couldn't get it right so I took a break from it and did this, relaxing and fun.

Life study nr 13

Love doing life studies, got a lot of stuff laying around I want to paint. This time I used my axe! Still really sharp, hand forged from Gränsfors Bruks. They make awesome axes, so check them out :). The tricky thing about the life studies is the perspective, I tend to use angles to help me. For example the angles between the lemon and the axe handle and the leather protection. So when I take a break I can go back and find the angles I memorized so the perspective is the same. Just something I found out that helped me a bit :)
